Gearing up

I’m joining forces with other local glass artists to make a big order from BE. I’ve placed other orders for molds and things and I’ll be ready to go when I get in my studio.

Sheepy cuteness

Another finished drawing/watercolor

Inline with a previously undisclosed (until now) fascination with the 4 elements, I started the fire drawing 3 times, until I came up with this one. Even as just a line drawing, I was really happy with the image. So the color would just make it better.

I was not disappointed.

Initial ink drawing

Finished watercolor.

Moving date is getting closer!

CoRK (https://twitter.com/#!/CoRKJax) made and announcement on Facebook today that Moving Day would be in about 2 weeks!! I’m trying to squee as quietly as I can about this. I’ve been without a working glass studio since November and I am SO READY to move and start creating glass again I can barely stand it.

I’d like to share a couple of EU Jacksonville articles. One is about CoRK and the other about Jim Draper, an artist at CoRK (http://www.jimdraperart.com).

I also got to meet a very interesting person this week. Amy from Bullseye Glass introduced me via email to Victoria here in Jacksonville, because we shared a common interest in glass. I think I will really enjoy getting to know her.
