Sometime near April 15 we will be able to move in to #108 at the Jacksonville Landing. We’re getting all our paperwork gathered, signed and approved while they clean out the space.

I also ordered a new kiln which should arrive that same week. Woohoo!

I’m setting up a store website (store.elemental.name) so check out my progress but don’t check out any items until I say “Go!”

So, I went down to the Jacksonville Landing today to check out the available spaces Downtown Jacksonville/Downtown Vision and The Landing are letting artists use as studio and gallery space. Wow! I was surprised at the amount of space they were opening to us. There were 5 other artists, besides me, and 4 of us were really keen on sharing a space. Yes!  We’re getting all the logistics down (insurance, utility costs, etc.), but I think it’s really doable. The biggest advantage: the creative energy and possible collaboration!

Other plans I made today were on designs for future pieces. I’m glad I know how to use Illustrator because it really helps me visualize some of the more graphic ideas I have.

I’m still waiting on my kiln. I was hoping I’d receive the shipping notice today, but I haven’t seen it yet.

I’m uber-excited!!!
